I wanted to take a minute and further explain what Year 9 is and why I'm so excited to share it with you.
Year 9 is my way of creating a collection representing where I've come from and where I'm going in my journey with severe Crohn's Disease. So, with that in mind, there are two main things that I want you to get out of Year 9.
The first is hope. God has been faithful in my 9 years with Crohn's. So, Year 9 is a testament to his faithfulness and the hope that I have in an eternity that's free from disease.
If you're struggling with chronic illness, mental health, or bodily pain of any kind, this collection is for you, and I hope it opens up conversations surrounding human suffering but not in a whoa-is-me way. There is hope, and that's the main message I want to share.
The second is a unique opportunity for collectors to own a piece of my evolution as an artist.
My promise to collectors with Year 9 is that each year following this one, I'll put out an exclusive collection that represents how I've grown as an artist and as a person with Crohn's Disease.
